About Me
Hi, I'm Anthony Jerez, a self-driven software engineer. My passion lies in designing algorithms and applying my skills to create apps from scratch that solve real-world issues. Throughout my academic journey, I've engaged in a variety of projects, both independently and collaboratively, leveraging my technical proficiency mainly in Python, Swift, JavaScript, and TypeScript. When I'm not building apps, you can find me going on long jogs with my pet pit bull or traveling through the streets of NYC. Future blog coming soon! I'm a strong believer of the phrase 'Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard' and try my hardest to live by life by that statement. I'm also always open to opportunities where I can apply and further develop the skills. Feel free to reach out to me at any time!

My Projects

QC Commencement
Developed an app that scrapes info from official QC web pages, indexes it, and lets users chat with a AI assistant that leverages RAG to get fast, grounded answers on questions regarding commencement/graduation.

Car IQ
Developed an iOS application that leverages deep learning and computer vision to detect and recognize cars from images. The user can take a picture of a car or upload one from their gallery, and the app will identify key attributes such as: make, model, and generation.
